This item is truly hard to find. In the search for information we found only one other like this pictured on the internet, with no description. Maybe someone out there shopping this item would be so kind as to give us some interesting background information if you have some to pass to us?!
Possibly from the 1960s, this Royal Stewart tartan/plaid sash is handcrafted. It has no manufacturing tags so please pay close attention to measurements, pictures, and the description for details. At one end is a 29 inch band that adjusts to smaller sizes using a metal clasp. That band meets a pleated edge that is 6.5 inches wide. The tartan material extends for 36 inches to the other edge that, when folded appropriately for the pleats, is 11 inches wide. There is fringe on the sides and the wider end. At the wider edge is an extension that is 7 inches long that is a cupped shape of material. We believe that this is worn shoulder to hip.
Length: 36 Inches
Width: 6.5 to 11 Inches
Color(s): Royal Stewart tartan
Condition: Previously owned, very good condition; no pulls, holes, rips, or visible wear.
